RedRocks Neapolitan Bistro: Authentic Italian Pizza with a Modern Twist

Great food, drinks, and service! This restaurant is perfect for Happy Hour, date night, and lunch. The pizza is good and offers a flavorful taste and thin crest. However, the most popular food items are breakfast! Trust me, their breakfast sandwiches are really good. The location is also perfect for seeing the sites of Old Town as well as King St.

We ordered the meatballs as an app, and they were good served with slices of bread to dip into the sauce. We got the goat cheese and mushroom pizza and a arugula type of pizza. Both were really good and crispy. I like goat cheese but I'm not sure I like it on pizza due to its sweet flavor, but this was ok. If you like it this may be a good pie for you. They have some outdoor street side seating which is nice on a cool night like we came on.

A very pleasant surprise in Old Town! The pizza was truly "Neapolitan" style, very thin and soft base and cooked to perfection! The staff and service was excellent. I also admired the old world atmosphere, which was appropriately decorated...and a well stocked bar.

Chill pizzeria with amazing pies. They have everything from Neapolitan to NY style and even Detroit style pizzas. Got the Burrata pizza and am over the moon. Yum. Staff was amazing, legit real people who are genuine.

Food was great, you can see the pizzas cooking from your seating. The menu doesn’t look like the photos, it seems it has been condensed down and doesn’t contain as many options as the old menu.

Wow! Fantastic pizza! Great crust, with a fresh/bright sauce, and excellent mozzarella cheese — everything was just done perfectly! Friendly staff and great location; overall, really impressed! I would definitely recommend RedRocks to others and will plan to visit again, when in Alexandria.

The pizza and pasta were both great. Nice restaurant for a large group. Communication with our server was difficult. No non alcoholic drinks listed on their menu and our server couldn’t understand us when we asked her if they offered any. Bummer for my NA husband, especially in a large group setting.

I love this place. Last Sunday, I ventured into RedRocks to get out of the cold and to satisfy my stomach. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff was extremely friendly. I ordered the RedRocks Sausage with roasted chicken added to it. I wasn't a fan of how flimsy the slices were, but they did taste good. I think I liked them more once I put my pizza in the fridge and ate it as a late night snack. My girlfriend got the Burrata pizza and ordered a Grapefruit Hibiscus drink with Cannoli for dessert. The Cannoli was good, but it tasted grainy to me. Overall, I would go back to RedRocks next time I'm in town.
